Today Resourcely is releasing availability for the following Terraform providers:

With this support, Blueprints and Guardrails can be written in Resourcely for each of these providers.

Blueprints allow platform teams to build guided experiences for creating and editing cloud resources, while Guardrails give platform and security teams a toolset for governing the configuration of resources from these providers.

What integrations provide

Integration with Resourcely means that a knowledge graph of all relevant resource information (properties, valid values, etc.) is available for use:

Generate Terraform
Automatically generate Terraform for creating cloud resources for any integrated service

Build policies
Create dynamic rules based on cloud properties

Hinting and autocomplete
When creating Blueprints or Guardrails, Resourcely will suggest parameters from a picklist based on the context of what you have written

Automatically populated form fields and types
Never worry about populating options for developers: Resourcely uses the knowledge graph to automatically provide valid inputs or types for developers. You can restrict or control these with Guardrails!

Learn more about each integration

To demonstrate a use case for each of these providers, we’ll be releasing the following guides over the next 2 weeks:

  • Controlling costs for Databricks with Terraform Blueprints and Guardrails
  • Building Blueprints and Guardrails for Oracle Cloud
  • Streamlining database creation on IBM Cloud
  • Scaling VMWare adoption with infrastructure as code

We start with the guide to controlling infrastructure costs on Databricks!
